Part 8 of my Estonian language notes~!

Eesti Notes Part 8
Estonian Textbook Lesson 1

PERSONAL PRONOUNS!

There are two forms of personal pronouns in Estonian; long form to emphasize the pronoun, and for when you would rather not.
Mina – Ma ‘I’ Meie – me ‘we’
Sina – Sa ‘you’ Teie – te ‘you’ [plural]
Tema – ta ‘he/she/it’ Nemad – nad ‘they'

Ma olen siin – ‘I am here’
Mina olen siin - ‘I am here’

PRESENT TENSE NOTES!

In Estonian, present tense words have a stem at the end to tell you who it is referring to. Here are some examples.

  Thank Come Speak Beg Study Be
Mina tänan tulen räägin palun õpin olen
Sina tänad tuled räägid palud õpid oled
Tema tänab tuleb räägib palub õpib on
Meie täname tuleme räägime palume õpime oleme
Teie tänate tulete räägite palute õpite olete
Nemad tänavad tulevad räägivad paluvad õpivad on

Present tense words use the following stems, to explain the above table;
